What's the Plan?

Matt Lucas, the owner of Lucas Electric on Mercer Street in Hightstown has offered to donate land for the skate park to the Borough of Hightstown.  Though at this point in time, the donation is on hold.
We are a park without a country at this point.
The exact layout of the skate park has not yet been set.  When we know how much land will be available to us, we will hold some town meetings to get input from our skaters, and then design the park to their liking.  Here is the approximate location of the skate park.  We will enter from the Highschool parking lot, from Mercer Street, or from both.
What if the land doesn't get donated?
We are looking at creating skate spots in Hightstown and/or possibly East Windsor.  These skate spots would be smaller, and would allow us to build something sooner.
However, our current focus is to raise more money.  We have taken over a Skate Program created by Next Level Youth which as a product will exoand their mission to mentor more kids, and in the process will raise more money for the skatepark.
Show me da' money?
Where did the money go that has already been raised?  The money has been transferred to a non-profit community savings account, where it will grow.  The community account will also enable us to obtain more grants, corporate sponsorships, cash donations, and donations with a credit card!  WE ARE LOOKING FOR BOARD MEMBERS TO MANAGE THIS MONEY AND OBTAIN MORE GRANTS!  Please email us at sk8@Xit8Sk8Park.org

We are trying to get grants from Tony Hawk, Mercer County and others to help us speed up the fund raising efforts.  But, ever penny counts, so please keep helping us to reach our goal.
